Project Fearless

About this project

Project Fearless is our year‑long school based programme that supports young people to speak out, challenge inequality and build safer and more cohesive communities.

Working with students aged 11 to 15, we facilitate weekly workshops that explore the realities of gender and racial inequality using creative tools, open discussion and lived experiences.

Sessions cover topics young people tell us matter most to them, including issues such as racism, online safety, sexual harassment, right wing extremism, grooming, cohesion, honour‑based abuse and Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). Alongside this, we help schools set up student‑led Equalities Councils where young people can shape conversations about equalities including representation, diversity and inclusion in their school.

Project Fearless gives students meaningful leadership roles and creative opportunities in acting, directing and writing while working on their project. They grow in confidence, develop key skills and gain early experience in campaigning and the creative industry. Many go on to higher education and continue their activism. Project Fearless supports young people to become activists in their communities.
