Treasurer (Trustee Role) at Integrate UK

At Integrate UK, we invest in the skills and talents of marginalised young people, supporting them to become the next generation of leaders advancing gender and racial equality and community cohesion.

We empower young people to challenge inequality and advocate for the policy changes needed to build the society they want to live in. In doing so, they gain transferable skills, grow in confidence and self-esteem, build friendships across diverse backgrounds, improve academic attainment, and lead movements for positive change.

From peer-led education workshops in schools across the UK to youth-led media campaigns, our projects encourage open conversations about challenging issues such as FGM, honour-based abuse, serious youth violence, sexual harassment, racism and extremism.

Everything we do is designed by young people, rooted in lived experience and driven by purpose.

From a small, local voluntary group founded by twelve girls, Integrate UK has grown to a national, multi award winning charity increasingly run by representatives from the groups with whom we work.
Alongside our board of trustees, our work is steered by 10 Junior Trustees and an active Youth Board, ensuring young people shape our work and inform our approach.

We are now looking for an experienced Finance professional to join our board as Treasurer.

This position offers the chance to apply your financial expertise in support of a youth-led charity’s long-term sustainability and growth. You will be part of a dynamic organisation, working alongside passionate young people and dedicated professionals.

What we are looking for:

● Recent experience (within the last 3 years) in Accounting or Charity Finance
● A collaborative approach and willingness to offer ad hoc guidance and support to our team when needed
● A passion for youth empowerment, inclusion, and social justice

What you will do:

● Help shape our strategic direction through financial stewardship and governance
● Support our CEO and board in ensuring long-term financial sustainability
● Use your skills to help us scale our work, without compromising our values

We actively welcome applicants whose backgrounds reflect the diversity of our beneficiaries, or who bring lived experience of the issues affecting the young people we work with.

Please read our Trustee Recruitment Leaflet for detailed information about the trustee role.
