Reporting FGM

If you have any concerns regarding FGM, call the free 24-hour helpline on 0800 028 3550 or email fgmhelp@nspcc.org.uk.

FGM is a dangerous practice and is against the law. If you or someone you know is in immediate risk of harm you can call the emergency services by dialling 999. The police and health services recognise FGM and can help protect you.

How to make a complaint

Integrate UK views complaints as an opportunity to learn and improve for the future, as well as a chance to put things right for the person (or organisation) that has made the complaint.

Many complaints can be resolved informally. In the first instance contact Integrate UK and, if you feel able, speak to the member of staff who is working with you or ask to speak to the Director, Lisa Zimmermann (lisa.zimmermann@integrateuk.org), who will try to sort the matter out.

If you are not satisfied or do not wish an informal solution, you may pursue a formal complaint.

Write down your complaint and send it to:
