Workshops in schools
We have been able to continue running workshops around FGM and other challenging issues thanks to donations from the general public. Education is key to breaking cycles of abuse and we are all grateful for your support.

Social enterprise experience for young people
Using investment from donations, three of our young people have started a sales page. In addition to learning valuable business and administration skills, they will be designing promotional materials to promote the cause and to raise money for the charity.
Music Video
Thanks to a particularly generous donation, we were able to create a music video as a tribute to the life of the late Efua Dorkenoo OBE. ‘Mama’ was launched in 2015 and was screened at Efua’s memorial service at Westminster Abbey in November 2015. ‘Mama Efua’, as she was affectionately known, led a campaign against female genital mutilation and pioneered a global movement to improve women’s health that inspired many others.
